I highly suggest turning HDR off until this is dealt with. apcom has revealed that the PC version of Resident Evil 7 will support both 4K resolutions and HDR. With HDR off, the contrast of dark and light areas is greatly increased. So things get much darker which to me was a problem at first. Ive been playing on the PC more thanks to the reset demo clock trainer and have just noticed why the PC version HDR looks much better. Resident evil 7 for PC has come out and has HDR support. Just got a TCL Roku 4K TV with HDR but when I play really any game the in game settings always end up looking washed out or way too dark. I'm on the LG C6 OLED. With the full game it wasn't as dark but still dark and I changed settings my TV and it now looks alot better. The accuracy and the way colors pop within that darkness. I turned the game on today and it forced me to turn on HDR mode, which is to dark in many areas. HDR is disabled and appears to be grayed out on non-supported monitors. The damn thing is greyed out for me too. Potential Fix: HDR washed out or too dark. I turned it back off and all the colors are messed up, everything including the Steam Overlay is White or Grey.
